TERMS, CONDITIONS AND PROHIBITED ITEMS

Safety is one of our highest priorities at the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank, and we will continue to take every reasonable step to ensure the safety of everyone entering the Uniprix Stadium site. We will once again be implementing several important security measures in conjunction with municipal, provincial and federal laws and regulations.

  1. We encourage you to arrive at least 60 to 90 minutes prior to the start of play to avoid delays and help speed the entry of all spectators. Please note that starting from Session 3, gates will open at 11 a.m., 90 minutes prior to the beginning of matches.
  2. All fans will go through a screening process (metal detection and bag search) before passing through the Uniprix Stadium gates.
  3. There will be a limit of one bag per person admitted onto the grounds.
  4. All bags are subject to a search and must adhere to the following conditions:
    • A maximum size of 12″W x 18″H x 9″L
    • A maximum volume of 15L
  5. Please bring as few articles as possible.
  6. There will be no bag storage on the grounds. There is a bag storage facility located outside the Gary-Carter entrance.
  7. Speed lines for fans without bags will be in use at all gates.

Here are a few tips to ensure a quicker security process:

  • Be cooperative with staff members and volunteers and follow their directives.
  • Be prepared to have your bag inspected.
  • Be prepared to empty your pockets.
  • Please remove:

  • You will be asked to pass through a metal detector. Please let the security staff know if, for medical reasons, you are not comfortable with the procedure;

PERMITTED ITEMS

The following items are permitted on site:

  • Clear plastic bottles
  • Food in limited quantities, for medical, dietary or child-related purposes
  • Cameras are allowed on site providing the following rules are followed:
    • No pictures with flash during play;
    • No tripods, monopods or selfie sticks;
    • Camera usage must not be a nuisance to other spectators

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are prohibited and MAY NOT be brought onto the premises. Failure to comply may result in items being confiscated:

  • Any bag larger than 12″W x 18″H x 9″L, or a volume of 15L;
  • Bottles or cans (glass or metal);
  • Alcohol;
  • Food (except in limited quantities, or for medical, dietary or child-related purposes);
  • Hard coolers or similar containers;
  • Computers, tablets and other portable electronic devices on all courts;
  • Video cameras or recording devices
  • Tripods, monopods or selfie sticks;
  • Bicycles;
  • Rollerblades;
  • Skateboards;
  • Scooters;
  • Flag Poles;
  • Self-balancing devices (i.e. Hoverboards);
  • Sealed packages of any kind;
  • Aerosol cans (i.e. sunscreen) or noisemaking devices;
  • Weapons;
  • Animals (except service animals);
  • Any materials constituting unauthorized advertising or promotion *;
  • Laser pointing devices;
  • Tennis racquets;
  • Drones and UAV (unmanned air vehicles);
  • Any other items deemed inappropriate or dangerous by Tennis Canada personnel, in their sole discretion

*Ambush marketing of any kind is prohibited:

  • Attempting to distribute leaflets, pamphlets, non-approved publications, wearable items or premium giveaways;
  • Attempting to create unauthorized brand affinity or presence;
  • Unauthorized selling of items, or possessing items with intent to sell;
  • Any other activity that Tennis Canada staff deems inappropriate.

Your cooperation, patience and understanding are greatly appreciated as we enhance and expand our security efforts to make your visit to the Rogers Cup safe and enjoyable.

TICKET HOLDER TERMS & CONDITIONS

    • The collection, dissemination, transmission, publication or distribution of match scores or statistics for betting or commercial use is prohibited for all ticket holders at any time during the match (from beginning to end). The continuous use of laptops or other portable communication tools on the tournament site (in areas reserved for spectators) in proximity to the courts where matches are in progress is strictly forbidden. The only exception to this rule applies to accredited media, the tournament’s official exhibitors and staff when they use the equipment for work purpose.
    • A TICKET GIVES ACCESS TO THE INDICATED SESSION, NOT TO A SPECIFIC PLAYER’S MATCH.
    • Clients are advised that the prices, the order of play, the dates of the sessions, the number of matches and the start time is subject to change without prior notice.
    • Clients are advised that a ticket cannot be exchanged or credited as a result of changes to the daily program and order of play.
    • Please note that priority is accorded to matches and that all efforts will be made to ensure that the matches take place.
    • The ticket is a personal license that is revocable, non-transferable and cannot be sold. Tennis Canada reserves the right to revoke the license granted by a ticket, with or without cause.
    • Any falsification or reselling of tickets is strictly prohibited.
    • The ticket gives the ticket holder the right to access the event’s site solely to the ticket holder, but does not confer any other rights.
    • In the case of the cancellation of the event, please refer to the Tennis Canada inclement weather policy.
    • Should the event be relocated due to weather or any other reason beyond our control, Tennis Canada will inform the client of the procedure to follow.
    • A ticket becomes void as soon as it becomes the object of a complaint made to the police department indicating that it has been stolen.
    • Ticket use is subject to the rules enforced on the site of the event.
    • The ticket holder assumes all risk of injury, loss or damage to property and clears Tennis Canada from any responsibility on such damages or injuries, whether it occurs before, during or after the session.
    • Tennis Canada reserves the right to refuse entry to the site to any person whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, thereby expelling him/her from the grounds of the event. Any expulsion renders a ticket void, as a result, the ticket holder waves all claims for damages, including a refund of the ticket price.
    • By accessing the site, the ticket holder gives Tennis Canada (and its delegates and representatives) the right to use his/her image, resemblance, actions and declarations in any audio or video reproduction as well as any photographic document or other transmission, exposition, publication or reproduction of the event for commercial or promotional use without further compensation or notice.
    • Although cameras are permitted on-site, the use flash photography during play is prohibited.
    • We ask that photos be taken from your seat or from behind the ramps, and that this does not constitute a nuisance for the other spectators.
    • Tennis Canada reserves the right to expel or refuse entry, without compensation, to visitors who do not comply with these rules.

    All ticket sales are final. No exchanges. No reimbursements.

RULES OF CONDUCT

All of us at Tennis Canada want your Rogers Cup presented by National Bank experience to be highly entertaining and memorable. Each fan plays an intrinsic role in making the experience fun for all.  We want you to have fun and be safe while you’re here. We want you to leave happy – and look forward to coming back! Keeping this in mind, all fans are expected to comply with the following Guest Code of Conduct during your visit at the Rogers Cup:

  • Shirts and footwear are required to be worn at all times
  • Do not wear any clothing or accessories with indecent, inappropriate, or offensive messaging or imagery
  • Refrain from the use of foul, abusive, offensive or inappropriate language or gestures, and any inappropriate behavior that creates a disruptive atmosphere for other guests
  • Access to the playing surface of any court is prohibited.
  • Consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible and lawful manner
  • Do not use fan/user based video streaming apps and video recording devices to record on-court action or activities
  • Show your ticket upon request and only sit in your designated seat, where applicable
  • Follow instructions from event staff regarding event operations or emergency procedures
  • Umbrellas may not be in the open position during play
  • Refrain from smoking or vaping, as this is a smoke-free environment

Guests who do not adhere to the Rules of Conduct will be subject to ejection without a refund and/or possible arrest and may be prohibited from attending future Rogers Cup events.

Each fan plays a key role in ensuring that the Rogers Cup experience is enjoyable for all. Tennis Canada wants you to have fun, be safe and keep coming back. Thank you for your cooperation – and thank you for supporting tennis in Canada!

ROGERS CUP PRESENTED BY NATIONAL BANK 2017 INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY – Montreal

Patrons are advised that the schedule of play as well as session dates, number of matches, and starting times are subject to change for all sessions. Tickets are not eligible for refund or exchange due to one or more changes to the schedule of play.

The following policy applies to individual session tickets purchased directly through Tennis Canada.

Please note that the following tickets are exempt from this policy and are not eligible for credit or exchange:

  1. All Boxes, Seats on Court, Level 200 Series and Press Gallery Series (as Subscribers of record have access to all Centre Court matches through tournament completion);
  2. All National Bank Series (as Subscribers of record have access to all National Bank matches);
  3. All tickets issued as Complimentary;
  4. All tickets purchased through any auction, resale or secondary outlet
  5. All tickets for sessions # 13 through # 15.

TICKET EXCHANGE POLICY FOR CENTRE & NATIONAL BANK COURTS (Please read above to determine if your tickets are eligible for exchange)

If one (1) ATP match is completed or 90 minutes of continuous play has taken place in any one session, that session is considered complete and therefore no exchanges, credits or refunds will be issued.

In the event that less than one (1) ATP match or less than 90 minutes of continuous play is completed due to weather or other acts beyond our control, any tickets not listed in the exemption list above may be used, by the original purchaser, as a credit (ticket value of paid tickets, less processing and delivery fees) towards a future session of tennis of the same year’s event. Patron must pay all difference in price. In the event that all remaining sessions are sold out, the Box Office will inform patron of available options. Please keep original tickets.

Press Gallery:   Despite the rain, the Press Gallery restaurant will remain open. Only ticket value of paid Press Gallery tickets will be credited to the original purchaser. Food & beverage portions will not be credited.

Private Suites

A session is completed when:

One match is completed or there has been 90 minutes of continuous play.

Under the above conditions, there will be no exchanges, credits or refunds issued.

In the event where less than one match is completed, or if there has been less than 90 minutes of continuous play, the following conditions apply:

CENTRE COURT

  1. Private Suites on Centre Court – sessions 3 to 14 inclusively
  • There are NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS.
  • Private Suites won’t be closed due to rain. Private Suites will stay open and you will be able to welcome your guests even if it rains.
  • Only the value of the ticket portion of the Private Suite will be credited to the original purchaser for the following year’s event.
  • The original purchaser will be contacted after the tournament by a Tennis Canada Account Representative
  1. Private Suites on Centre Court – session 15
  • There are NO EXCHANGES, CREDITS OR REFUNDS.
  • Private Suites won’t be closed due to rain. Private Suites will stay open and you will be able to welcome your guests even if it rains.
  • The tickets for session 15 will be valid to access the Suite’s seats for the rescheduled match ONLY. However, parking passes won’t be valid for the rescheduled session.

NATIONAL BANK COURT

  1. Private Suites on National Bank Court – cancelled sessions
  • There are NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS.
  • Private Suites won’t be closed due to rain. Private Suites will stay open and you will be able to welcome your guests even if it rains.
  • Only the value of the ticket portion of the Private Suite will be credited to the original purchaser for the following year’s event.
  • The original purchaser will be contacted after the tournament by a Tennis Canada Account representative.
  1. Private Suites on National Bank Court – rescheduled sessions
  • There are NO EXCHANGES, CREDITS OR REFUNDS.
  • Private Suites won’t be closed due to rain. Private Suites will stay open and you will be able to welcome your guests even if it rains.
  • The tickets on level 200 of Centre Court for the rescheduled session will be valid for the rescheduled match ONLY. However, parking passes won’t be valid for the rescheduled session. The Private Suite will not be available for the rescheduled session.

Complimentary Private Suite: no exchanges, credits or refunds issued.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. RESALE OF TICKETS ON GROUNDS OF UNIPRIX STADIUM IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
