Job Description:
Tennis Canada is a non-profit national sports organization, responsible for the Rogers Cup - a dynamic world-class sports and entertainment tennis event with a strong focus on corporate hospitality. Our Corporate Sales Team is seeking an ambitious, results-oriented sales executive who has a proven track record for generating sales. The best candidate will be dynamic, creative, self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to reach and impress senior level decision makers in this B2B environment.
Responsibilities:
• Generate new business accounts through cold-calling, lead generation, and referrals
• Service and maintain current clients
• Assist with creative concepts for production of corporate sales materials including brochures, proposals and all other support materials
• Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives to drive sales
• Assist with other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements for this position include:
• Demonstrated record of success in a goal oriented, highly accountable, sales atmosphere
• Strong ability to close sales in order to meet aggressive targets
• Superior phone, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under stress during time-sensitive situations
• Ability to work as an effective team player as well as independently
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Experience in sports industry is preferred
• Personal transportation is an asset
