Tweets of the week: A WTA week in self-quarantine

Friday, Mar 20

It’s now been just under seven days of social distancing, or as I like to call it, an introvert’s paradise. With no tennis until at least June (🥺) due to the spread of COVID-19, tennis players are finding new ways to work out, give back, and relax!

Genie is doing self-isolation right: from the couch to the court!

Bianca is doing her part for COVID-19 relief, by donating a signed racquet. A $25 donation is all it takes for a chance to win!

“LAF” with some words of wisdom well beyond her years here. Staying safe and positive is key. 🙌

Loving the outdoor home gym setup from Gaby here. Don’t forget about the sun, people! ☀️

Happy to know I’m not the only one who’s a mess without sports.

2020 is cancelled, but this look definitely isn’t. 😎

And Roland Garros surprised the tennis world by moving its tournament, a move that definitely made waves throughout the sport.

I think we can all agree that the sooner this quarantine is over, the better. But until then, make the most of it! Nothing is permanent, and tennis will be back. 🙏
